- I ordered the jacket to match. Both items a try thin but were perfect for our Florida outing in Feb when the temps were in the 70s. This set came is handy. It was not too heavy and thick nor was it too thin. It is a waffle texture and has a good amount of stretch. The pants are an elastic waist and easy to put on and take off. The pants are a medium and per the chart it is size 10-12. My grand daughter in the picture is only 6 and the pants fit fine (which is odd). They were very long but as far as the waist, they were like they were made just for her so my suggestion would be to order up. The pants are super cute and I was overjoyed when matched with the jacket. My grand daughter received many compliments while wearing it.Very pleased
